I was born in Xiamen, China and grew up in Toronto, Ontario after immigrating with my family. I attended the University of Guelph for my BSc and Cornell University for my DVM. After veterinary school, I completed my small animal rotating internship at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in New York, NY.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the DMV area, hiking, travelling, and spending time with my cat (Sox) and dog (Petunia).
