Growing up I always had a passion for science and an interest in going into medicine, so it seemed like a no-brainer to become a veterinarian and get to work with more than one species! I was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina, and received my Bachelor’s in Animal Science at Clemson University. I went on to get my DVM at the University of Georgia, where I developed an interest in pursing internal medicine.

Outside of work I enjoy baking, reading, and doing anything crafty. I have an energetic and goofy dog named Rue, and we love to go on long walks and meet new friends together!
