Born in the suburbs of Chicago and raised in North Jersey, I initially pursued a career in figure skating that gave me the opportunity to live in multiple US states and Canada. I completed my bachelor’s degree in biology at Rutgers University, during which time I began working as a veterinary assistant at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ. While working at Oradell, I had the opportunity to work in multiple areas of specialty medicine, and this is where I first became interested in pursuing advanced training in oncology. I graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021, then returned to Oradell Animal Hospital for a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. I then returned to Cornell and completed my residency training in medical oncology in 2025.
