I was born in Brazil and grew up outside of Philadelphia. I went to undergrad at Cornell University and attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania. Following veterinary school, I had the opportunity to train with a number of different surgeons giving me the opportunity to integrate many different surgical styles into my medical approach. I also performed a specialty internship at The Animal Medical Center which furthered my interest in minimally invasive interventional procedures. I have a beloved, very slightly spoiled, cat named Tuna that I adopted while living as an intern in Oregon and currently live in Washington DC. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, scuba diving, travel, and exploring local restaurants. I’m thrilled to be working at Friendship and love the collaborative environment and high level of care.
