I was born and raised along the Jersey Shore in Monmouth County, New Jersey. I have always had a passion for marine mammals, wildlife, and medicine, which has led me to my current path in veterinary medicine. Initially, I pursued equine medicine and completed a summer internship on a sport horse breeding farm in Lexington, Kentucky. However, throughout veterinary school, my true passion for companion animals and small animal surgery was realized. During my clinical year I participated in numerous programs to gain surgical experience such as spay and neuter training programs at the ASPCA in Asheville, North Carolina and the Providence Animal Center in Media, Pennsylvania. After graduation from veterinary school, I completed a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, scuba diving, spending time outdoors, and reading a good book.
