Originally from Puerto Rico, I fell in love with veterinary medicine and the incredible impact veterinarians make on families early on in life. My interest in Internal Medicine blossomed in my internship at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center where I found my passion in managing difficult cases and tailoring care and helping underserved minorities seeking veterinary care.
Among the multitude of conditions Internal Medicine manages, it was during my specialty internship at Angell Animal Medical Center that I found my pasion for nephrology, hepatology, and immunology. In addition, I am specially interested in interventional procedures, such as dialysis, interventional endoscopy/laparoscopy and cystoscopy.
I am exited to join a hospital that shares my passion for serving owners and practice evidence-based medicine!
