Growing up in sunny south Florida, I spent most of my days surrounded by natural wildlife, living 20 minutes from both Everglades National Park and the beaches of the Atlantic Coast. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Central Florida. Knowing I wanted to pursue my dream career of becoming a veterinarian, I spent my free time interning
rehabilitating birds of prey, volunteering with rescued big cats, and at local zoos. I moved north to New York to obtain my veterinary degree from Long Island University. My interests in veterinary school included clinical pathology, internal medicine, and exotic animal medicine.
When I’m not in the hospital I enjoy traveling with friends and family, reading a good book with a cup of tea, and training for the next runDisney race! I am thrilled to be in D.C. as part of the Friendship family, caring for animals alongside an incredible team.
