If you’ve been “to the back” of Friendship’s Brandywine location in the past couple years, you may have noticed more than just the hustle and bustle of a busy emergency room – it’s crowded back there! With the boom of post-Covid pet adoption and the growing demand for high-quality veterinary care, our 30,000 square foot Emergency and Specialty Center will allow us to provide expanded specialty services and serve as the new home of our cutting-edge Emergency Room and ICU.

Yes, our 24 hour emergency service will be located at our new Emergency and Specialty Center at 5025 Wisconsin Ave. location ONLY!
Why are you opening a second location?
The 30,000-square-foot facility will allow us to provide additional and expanded specialty services, including Radiation Oncology, Nephrology/Urology, and a cutting-edge interventional operation suite – a fully integrated operating room equipped with advanced technology to perform minimally invasive procedures.
When will the 5025 Wisconsin location open?
We are slated to open the Emergency and Specialty Center in late 2024. Stay tuned for opening information!
How do I contact the different locations?
The phone number will remain the same and act as one system between both locations.
Will there be parking at the Emergency and Specialty Center?
YES! There is a multi-level parking garage located under the building.
Will my records be accessible at both locations?
Our doctors and staff will still have access to all records and medical treatments taking place at both Friendship facilities and will still work within one computer system.
Will there be a disruption of services during the move?
We will still be open 24/7 and our goal is to minimize service disruptions as much as possible.

November 21, 2024 – We are getting closer! Some areas are getting final touches as we get closer to the finish line.
October 19, 2024 – The MRI and CT have arrived and are in the building!
September 26, 2024 – Cages have arrived! It is starting to look more like an animal hospital as the cages go in, surgical lights are being installed and wet tables are being put in place.
August 29, 2024 – The paint is going up on the walls and cabinets are being installed!
